Drifting Lights

Silence set to rest under spring showers
As below so above are flickering,
In playful and quiet calls bickering
Over what to do between slow hours,
Caught starlight set drifting in illusion.

Every drop sings the astral bound chorus
Gems reflect and descend, all proficient
They display the twilight quite efficient
Bounding to the earth, making a ruckus
Cast painting their mirror in profusion.

Dilute panes on rock return the image
Light spanning odd eons to demonstrate
Their playful drift performed to captivate
Drifters who know their ennui by visage;
A lifetime of travel at conclusion.

Cloudless sky comes back into your dreaming
Dancing in your eyes, looking for meaning
